good to see my man Günter getting some cyber-ink, at least. I know Matt did his because he wanted to interview one of the artists from the recent set of Ersts, and his first choice, Jérôme Noetinger, isn't much for online exchanges in English. what prompted yours, Al?

Jon, IMO he's one of the true pioneers of the music, on the same scale as Rowe; maybe moreso, if we are to consider the last 15 years. Since I've been listening to him, I've respected that he is so proactive in developing and furthering the music, and that he pursues various directions in types of collaboration that seem so restrictive.

yeah, even if you ignore all of his musical contributions, what Eddie Prevost and Günter respectively have done in keeping Matchless and For 4 Ears going for decades when basically no one cared, is really inspirational to me.
